Last weekend was great weather for whitewater rafting in the Lehigh Gorge State Park, and Dam release whitewater weekends start on May 9th! More rain today, Francis walter dam at 63 feet
April 7th, 2009We got a little more rain today, although the next couple days are forecast to be cold and rainy, by Thursday the Dam should have all the water for the 2009 Dam release whitewater weekends. That means the river will be running great on Thursday with lots of springtime sunshine!

April 5th, 2009420 cfs out of the Francis Walter Dam and great water on the lower Lehigh Gorge State Park run. Almost 60 degrees. Dam releases start May 9th!

April 4th, 2009In spite of being cold and windy in the Lehigh Gorge State Park, The Lehigh river is running higher this weekend and the whitewater is just a bit faster than last weekend. We saw a whitewater challengers trip out too.
